CD/DVD Guidelines
Safety Margins: Text and important images must fall within the red boxes. Extending important elements beyond these lines can cause problems during cutting, folding and assembly. Parts of images on text can end up being trimmed off or fall directly ona fold.
Cut Lines: This is approximately where your artwork will be trimmed. Keeping all text and important images inside the 1/8 th inch safety margins will prevent their unintended loss during cutting.
Bleeds: This are is going to be completely trimmed away during the cutting process. Only solid colors, background images or foreground images that intentionally run off the page should extend through this area. Having bleeds esures that your artwork will not have a thin white border around it.
Folds: Be very careful when running any text or important images over folds. The (especially the text under 9 pt) can be had to read if it is falling on the fold.

Free Write: Friendship!
I think the true meaning of friendship is someone who is always by your side, and who is there for you in your time of need. I have a few friends and If they need me for something important, or need some help on something, then I'll always be there. You should be able to count on your friends. I wouldn't let my friends down for anything. A friend is not someone who doesn't care you or your feelings, doesn't help you, doesn't lead you in the right path. Most people in this world say they have friends until something bad happens and their friends are not there for them. Such as a fight; Safe for instance if someone wants to jump you and they start fighting and your friend either runs for the problem, or doesn't help, that's what you can call someone who is not your friend. I know if I see one of my friends in a fight, I would help because it always comes back on you. A friend wouldn't play you around other people, they would just act regular and don't try to show off in front of other people.
Free Write: Snow Day!
Yesterday was a very cold day! I woke up around 8:30 am and went in my parents room. I asked them if we had school and they said no, so I went back to sleep for a little while longer. Later on that day, I woke up, ate breakfast then left the house. Around 3:00 pm, I went out to shovel and I made money. After I shoveled, I went to my track coach house and played the X-Box 360 with his sons and a few friends from my track team. I went home around 7:30 pm and ate dinner with my family, I watched T.V for a while, got on the computer, later got in the shower and my day was done.
